Starting Over, Moving Forward

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. If this is your first time here—hi, I’m G. A thinker, a tinkerer, and someone who’s learned that life rarely goes as planned, but that doesn’t mean the journey isn’t worth it.

This blog isn’t about selling you something or impressing you with a highlight reel of successes. It’s about documenting a story that’s as messy as it is meaningful—a story of reinvention, failure, resilience, and hope. This is where I pick up the pen again to write the next chapter of my journey.

Who Am I?

Let’s start with the basics: I’m a guy who wears many hats. I’m the founder of Truelytics Solutions, where I help businesses in the Philippines navigate the exciting (and sometimes intimidating) world of AI automation. I’m also the person behind Experience Philippines, a travel company that once brought strangers together for epic road trips and offbeat adventures.

But here’s the thing—Experience Philippines isn’t the unstoppable machine it once was. Like so many others in the travel industry, it came to a screeching halt during the pandemic. The world paused, and so did my dream.

That pause forced me to reflect, reimagine, and rebuild. It also led me to discover a new passion: AI.

The Journey So Far

Experience Philippines wasn’t just a business for me; it was a way to create community, foster connection, and show people the beauty of our country. For a while, it felt like we were on top of the world.

Then everything stopped.

The pandemic shut down travel, and with it, the company I’d poured my heart into. It felt like failure—until I realized it was also an opportunity to pivot.

That’s when Truelytics Solutions was born. I wanted to solve real-world problems for businesses struggling to keep up with a rapidly changing world. From automating customer inquiries for travel agencies to creating smarter tools for small communities, I found a way to combine my love for problem-solving with the emerging potential of AI.

Why AI?

If you’re wondering, “Why AI?”—well, it’s not just because it’s trendy. AI, for me, is a tool for empowerment. It’s not about replacing people; it’s about giving us back time for the things that matter.

At Truelytics, we’re creating AI solutions for businesses, especially in industries like travel and tourism. One of my favorite projects? An AI agent for travelers that makes planning trips easier and more personalized.

I know AI can feel intimidating (trust me, I’ve been there). But when you break it down, it’s really about simplifying, streamlining, and scaling what we already do well. And that’s a mission I can get behind.

The Setbacks and the Comebacks

Let’s talk about failure because, honestly, it’s been a big part of my story. I’ve had ideas that didn’t work out, partnerships that fizzled, and moments when I wanted to give up. But here’s what I’ve learned: failure isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of something new—if you let it be.

And while I’m focused on growing Truelytics Solutions, some of those older dreams are quietly taking shape again. Experience Philippines, Mystery Cafe, and Hiraya Bed n Breakfast—all projects I deeply care about—are slowly finding their place in my bigger vision. No big announcements yet, but they’re there, waiting for the right moment.

The People (and Dog) Who Keep Me Grounded

If there’s one thing that keeps me moving forward, it’s the people around me. My family, who have supported me unconditionally. My friends, who’ve stayed through the highs and lows. And of course, Matteo, my chow chow-husky mix, who reminds me every day to stop, breathe, and enjoy the little things (like belly rubs and afternoon naps).

Outside of work, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen (ask me about my sauce obsession), getting lost in RPGs, or dreaming up ways to gamify everyday life. Balance is my secret weapon—it’s what keeps the ideas flowing and the stress at bay.

Looking Ahead

So, where does this leave me? In a place of growth and possibility. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m also not where I used to be—and that’s progress. Whether it’s scaling Truelytics Solutions, quietly reviving old projects, or finding new ways to teach and inspire, I’m excited about what’s next.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. This blog is a space where I’ll document my thoughts, my experiments, and maybe even my missteps. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: progress isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, trying, failing, and trying again.

Here’s to moving forward, one thoughtful step at a time. Let’s see where it takes us.
